Tired

I'm tired of (ok, well, SICK of) the following:

1) hearing the ads for "having to go digital". Damn. I can't wait till Feb. 17th for it to stop.

2) medical procedures and doctors who don't know crap and yet don't want their patients doing their own internet research.

3) narcissists.

4) not being able to get used to Blogger. (I used to be sick of people complaining about the switch from AOL, and now I'm doing it). I thought I was smart enough to figure it out. I suck at loading photos and am sick of not getting alerts in a way that works well for me.

5) all the talk about "the economy". (I'm also sick of the "Going Green" talk, but at least that's positive)

6) gross, shocking commercials about lung cancer. It doesn't make me want to avoid cigarettes, it makes me want to change the channel....and maybe take up drinking more heavily.

I'm done.

...for now.

Good post, Nance. I usually tell people who recommend that I go digital tell take their longest digital and stick it where the sun don't shine. But, that's just me.

Do you remember how people used to gripe about the ads on AOL? Well a lot of bloggers now put ads all over their blogs LOL. I wish blogger was as simple as AOL was. Maybe we will all get used to it soon- or later. Hugs, Helen

The doctor thing...I COMPLETELY AGREE!

They're clueless and for some reason, that seems to be acceptable, when it's not them or THEIR family in need.

Try a homeopath or a naturopath. You'll be much happier.

XOXO

As Heather said using Google Reader is the easiest way to keep track of people on Blogger. I agree with all of the above, except you guessed it Blogger. It can be a pain at times, but I'm finding my way around fairly easy now. I seriously can't stomache the lung cancer commercial. I have a lung disease, I DON'T need a daily reminder what it's doing to me. Was delighted to see a post from you dear one. (Hugs)Indigo

I see google reader has been suggested already and the other resource that I LOVE for adding my entries is livewriter - it's so easy and you see EXACTLY how the entry will look. :-) I'm liking Blogger.

The other stuff - agreed upon!

I love blogger way more than I ever liked aol journals. You have so much more control over content, style, and templates. On the down side, it does have a steeper learning curve at FIRST, but you get past that.

Try google reader, it is the easiest way to keep up to date on every blog you read, all on one screen. I love it. It saves me so much time on reading blogs.
