But when I saw Carly's "Monday Photo Shoot" assignment, I simply could not resist. The topic is "Clouds". Oh how I adore clouds ... always have, always will.
The past couple of years, I've found myself even more inclined to look up...in search of something. I've been on the lookout for some special sightings. And even when they don't appear, most times, clouds have their intrinsic beauty.
Here are some of my favorite captures.
(The first is for extra credit....it was like a rainbow was running through this cloud).

Hi Nancy
Yeah. I know how you feel, I have been having a hard time feeling inspired to blog lately also. Something must be in the air.
Great photos! The second one, now don't laugh, but I swear I see a guy in his boxer shorts bending over! LOL. I do... I swear I do! Great captures, and great to have you along this week.
Hugs, Carly
I know just what you mean. But I miss your writing, just so you know. :) Clouds are beautiful. I have always been a 'Cloudgazer', too. I am always pointing out something in the sky to people & I think they consider me a bit odd sometimes. But you & I, we're not odd, are we?
xoxo
I've been wondering where you have been.. Those shots are pretty, I love the first one-- What a COOL shot!
Miss your photos, friend! xo
Beautiful cloud shots, especially the first. I saw a cloud like that once to. It was one of the prettiest things I'd even seen (but, no, Martha didn't have her camera that day!) Grrr!
I hope you are ok Nance and hope to hear what's been going on with you soon! Hugs!
I hope you feel better soon Nancy. The first rainbow looking cloud is what we call a sundog. The last one looks like a human of some sort is in it. Hugs, Helen
I havnt posted or read in a long time due to my cancer fund raisers i do, but I have just begun posting and finally reading again.
I hear Ya.
Still waiting to hear more from my pal Nance! Hope you are having a nice weekend :-)
I'm a cloud person as well and I like watching for little picture gifts from them.
I know you'll find some inspiration from the clouds with that wonderful mind of yours.

...from up and down, from give and take, from win and lose....and still somehow. It's cloud's illusions I recall. I really don't know.....I really don't know.

Beautiful cloud shots my friend. One reason to always have the camera ready to snap. Most cloud formations are a momentary gift.
Clouds are always changing..hope your odd mood leaves quickly just like the clouds do sometimes. I also enjoy the clouds and could watch them all day. Your first photo is great, and I see somethings in the others..everyone has their own interpretations. As always they are great photos! :)
The clouds are lovely, especially the first one. I have been thinking of Joni Mitchell's song (didn't Neil Diamond or Frank Sinatra or someone else sing it, too?) ever since doing this meme. It's a great song and applies so well!
I love love love that first shot!!
