My Project

Hi,



Upon seeing all the shops closing down, and homes going on the market, I felt I needed to find a way to capture some of it. Several months ago, I began taking hundreds of photos all over the area. I'd stop on the way to and from work, I'd go during my lunch hour....any chance I could.



Somehow, the sadness inside me needed an outlet. As helpless as I still feel in this economy, doing this slideshow helped me to put my energy into something. Some of the photos have subtle messages, others are just pure and simple. In any case, please have your speakers on and take a peek at my little venture.

Extra Credit

For the Monday Photo Shoot, Carly offered us "extra credit".

She says:

Extra Credit: My favorite bird is the Snowy Egret, like the one you see above. I would like to see either an Egret or a Heron, but if you don't happen to have them in your area, any white BIRD will do as well. :)

Note: Is it just me, or does Carly remind you of Bubba from Forrest Gump when he talked about types of Shrimp?? LOL!

Oh and for extra credit, she wants an egret or a heron. Hmmmm.... I'll have to take a look and maybe do an extra post. Be back soon!!

I've got something for U!

It's that time again....for Martha's A-Z challenge!

While waiting in an airport one day, I noticed this incredibly odd woman. I'm only going to show you PART of her oddness....because I was able to make up a good enough reason to take this picture. (but man, you shoulda seen the rest of her!)

Unbelievable (or Ugly)

Next, I need to tell you that although we have 3 pets, rarely the 3 shall meet. It's been years of chases and swatting, but finally, finally....I present you with:

I mean, they are certainly starting to love one another but this is getting ridiculous!

It's just a photo I took, looking down at my knees while sitting on a bus. Seriously!

(Though I must admit I almost posted a shot of myself in some nice undies...and I never would have admitted it was my butt)
