OK, well sorta.
I mean, all these things that I shot at a local Farmer's Market can eventually be food!

Oh man, there's that pretty chard I tried to grow - it sprouted but never grew. I can't wait to try again in the spring. Love your photos! :-)

You know I always have random quips race through my mind when I visit your amazingly witty posts, to wit:

...I have similar pictures of Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice....

...I dated both Betty Beets and Carol Carrots and both were easily stewed....

...at the formal dinner hosted by Bob and Carol, their son was not participating in the devotion prior to the start of the meal forcing Carol to turn to her son and admonish, "Lettuce, PRAY !"...

(Ok, the last one was a stretch)

I always thought chard was dark green. Next time I go to the farmer's market I am going to look for some of this colorful stuff. Ncihe job with this shoot.
